Treatment Options

The treatment options for orthopedic conditions depend on basis of many factors. The different treatment methods used to treat the common orthopedic disorders include:

Braces and Supports – They provide support to weak muscles and compensate for injured joints. There are several types of braces and supports available and all you need to have is the appropriate knowledge on what to use to help with your condition. The various braces and supports include –

Injections – In some cases, injections are used instead of oral medications. Commonly used injections include cortisone, hyaluronan, PRP (platelet rich plasma) injections.

Surgery – Surgical treatment is recommended when other treatments fail to relieve symptoms. They include knee replacement, knee surgery, shoulder replacement, hip replacement, ankle replacement and back surgery.

Arthroscopic Surgery – This kind of treatment uses small incisions from where a camera is inserted into the affected joint to perform surgical procedure.
